Florence Rail Trail (SC)

We parked at the southwest end of the trail and walked 1.5 miles in. There is plenty of shade along the portion we did. The trail was paved for the first mile, followed by crushed stone. Well worth walking if you are in the area.

Harrelson Trail

Worst bike trail ever

This trail is horrible. Warning to parents, do not take children on this bike path. We spent 7 miles dodging cars coming out of driveways and parking lots. Terrible experience.

Colonel Robert Bell Path

Great Connecting Trail

April, 2024 by themfoxes

While this trail may not be very long, it provides a vital service for many cyclists and pedestrians by providing safe passage to the opposite side of the Intracoastal Waterway. The asphalt trail initially runs parallel to US 17 at 62th Ave N, then turns into a lightly wooded trail. After running along side the north end dog park, it travels across the waterway and then ends at the Horry County mountain bike track, The Hulk. Unfortunately, the trail just ends here but if you don’t mind riding on the road, you can take Eddie Dyer Rd to get to the abundant shopping area in River Oaks.

Very pleasant ride. Nice wide path, clean neighborhood ride. We came upon a turn off that went along the water. Shaded along the route.

Conway Riverwalk

great, very relaxing, quiet

This place was great. I am always looking for some smaller trails to go on and this one was perfect. It is relaxing, quiet and clean! You can sit and watch the boats go by or have a chat with people doing some fishing. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Grissom Parkway Trail

I rode this and adjoining trails/routes- kinda; No route signage anywhere! Most trails systems have route markers, or signage to be able to follow w/o checking maps. Missed turns & had to keep checking back on gps to get back on track.

Marina Parkway Bike Path

great ride

Beautiful and easily accessible from parking area across from marina. On our way back to the car took the detour on the beautiful side trail along the inner waterway next to the DelWeb community. Undulating hills by the waters edge. Trail dead ends so you must turn back

Grissom Parkway Trail

Busy City Path

April, 2021 by ddjaquet

We rode the entire length of this path (more of a wide sidewalk) along Grissom Parkway. The north section between 48th Ave and route 510 is pretty busy with many roads, intersections, and business driveways to maneuver. From route 510 south to the Harrelson Trail is nice and not as congested. The Perrin's Path extension to the north, from 48th Ave is nice and quiet, being a more traditional paved dedicated bike path, but not very long. The Harrelson Trail connection on the South end is a good way to adds miles to your ride. We appreciate the availability of this option, but not the easiest ride you'll find. You really need to be alert for cars.

Pleasant Ride

April, 2021 by ddjaquet

This trail is paved and wide. Some traffic to deal with, but not bad. We rode the eastern section between Grissom Parkway and Kings Highway as an extension of our ride on the Grissom Parkway Trail. An interesting ride along the airport on the South side and the golf course on the North side.
